On June 24, 2025, the DPES overseas team arrived in Istanbul, Turkey to attend the Garment Tech, which was held from June 25 to 28. The goal was to invite professional buyers to the DPES Textile Printing & Embroidery Expo 2026 in Guangzhou, China.
Garment Tech is an important trade show in Turkey for garment production technology. It brings together top manufacturers from around the world who specialize in garment making, embroidery, textile printing, sewing machines, and accessories. The exhibition focuses on complete solutions for making finished garments and products. It attracts professional buyers and technicians from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia.
During the event, the DPES team warmly welcomed visitors from all over the world, introduced the highlights of the DPES Textile Printing & Embroidery Expo , and explained the special activities that will be held during the exhibition. Many visitors showed strong interest, took brochures, and left their contact details to learn more. Buyers came from countries like Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, and Algeria.
We also visited many booths and had in-depth conversations with machine and embroidery suppliers, sharing the advantages of our exhibition and the strong group of exhibitors who will participate.
DPES Market Insights
1. Turkey has a strong and complete textile and garment production chain, with an advantage in regional exports. From the feedback at the show, recent U.S. tariffs have caused some short-term challenges for Turkey’s textile industry. However, with adjustments in the industry and support from regional trade (especially with the EU), Turkey still has room to stay competitive. Companies that shift to high value-added products and improve their supply chains will be more successful in the long run.
2. Most exhibitors were Turkish brands and Chinese brand agents. Visitors mainly came from Turkey and nearby countries. The show covered all parts of the industry, including textile printing, embroidery, sewing, and accessories. Many people were especially interested in DTF and DTG machines, showing that the Middle East has growing demand for garment printing.
3. Buyers at the show were looking for complete solutions that include printing, heat transfer, and post-processing. Small orders, fast delivery, and custom designs are becoming more popular. As DTF technology keeps improving, we expect more companies to launch machines that are eco-friendly and better-looking, which will become the trend in the future.
